I am proud to be taking part in the The Becket Arts Center’s “The Art of Giving” show this November and December, 2023. All of the artists will be in attendance at the opening reception on November 4th from 2-4pm. More so than other exhibits, you will want to come for the reception where you can discuss with the artists about what giving has meant to them and maybe you’ll come up with some gifts of your own for this holiday season!

In a celebration of art and the spirit of giving, The Becket Arts Center is proud to present "The Art of Giving," a unique art show that brings together local creatives to showcase the gifts they have exchanged with one another. This one-of-a-kind exhibition will open its doors to the public on November 2nd and run through December 23rd, 2023.
Join us for the opening reception on Saturday, November 4th from 4-6pm at 7 Brooker Hill Road Becket, MA 01223, where you can meet some of the featured artists and gain insight into the inspiration behind their gifted artworks. The exhibition will be open to the public from November 2nd through December 23rd, and admission is free.
"The Art of Giving" is a testament to the profound connections formed within the artistic community, where artists have shared their talents and created original pieces of art as tokens of appreciation, love, and friendship. The exhibition explores the essence of generosity and the symbiotic relationships that fuel artistic innovation.
The work of three talented Berkshire artists, Marge Bride, Sean McCusker, and Scott Taylor, will be featured. A diverse selection including oil, watercolor, drawings and prints will showcase their talents as working artists of the Berkshires. Items gifted to and from these creatives will tell a story of the bond between artists, the emotions and inspiration that fuel their creative process, and the artistry behind the act of giving.
